Refund and Digital Product Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Refund and Digital Product Policy explains the cancellation, refund, replacement, and access rules that apply to products and memberships offered through [WEBSITE DOMAIN].
The website is operated by MAROVELLE SLAON, doing business as Marovelle Sloan and Confessions of a Findom Goddess (“Marovelle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and should be read together with our:
-
Terms and Conditions
-
Membership Terms
-
Privacy Policy
-
18+ Disclaimer
-
Gift and Tribute Terms
-
Product descriptions
-
Checkout disclosures
-
Payment-provider terms
By purchasing a product or membership through the website, you agree to this policy.
1. Adults-Only Purchases
All products, memberships, audio experiences, books, collections, and other paid content are intended exclusively for adults who are at least eighteen years old and have reached the legal age of majority in their location.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that:
-
You are at least eighteen years old.
-
You are legally permitted to purchase and access mature content.
-
You are purchasing voluntarily.
-
You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
-
The purchase will not interfere with your ability to meet essential financial obligations.
Do not complete a purchase if you do not meet these requirements.
2. Products Covered by This Policy
This policy may apply to:
-
Electronic books
-
Novellas
-
Short stories
-
PDF or EPUB files
-
Digital collections
-
Downloadable audio recordings
-
Streamed audio experiences
-
Podcast-related premium content
-
Digital bundles
-
Members-only material
-
Private editions
-
Limited-release digital products
-
Archive memberships
-
Other electronically delivered content
Physical products, wishlist gifts, and purchases made through external retailers or platforms are governed by the policies of the applicable seller or service provider unless otherwise stated.
3. Nature of Digital Products
Digital products are delivered electronically and may become available immediately after payment.
Unlike a physical product, a digital file or streamed work cannot ordinarily be returned after it has been:
-
Delivered
-
Downloaded
-
Opened
-
Viewed
-
Streamed
-
Accessed
-
Copied to a device
-
Made available through an account or private link
For this reason, digital-product purchases are generally final once delivery or access has occurred, except where a refund is required by law or approved under this policy.
4. Digital Products Are Generally Nonrefundable
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, digital products are generally nonrefundable after:
-
A download link has been delivered
-
A file has been downloaded
-
A product has been opened
-
Streaming has begun
-
Private content has been accessed
-
A digital bundle has been made available
-
A members-only benefit has been used
-
Access records show that the product was successfully delivered or viewed
This applies even when the customer:
-
Changes their mind
-
Decides they no longer want the product
-
Does not finish reading or listening
-
Purchases the wrong product
-
Dislikes the story, narration, voice, theme, characters, style, length, or creative choices
-
Expected content not included in the product description
-
Fails to review the format or system requirements
-
Does not use the product before a link expires
-
Later discovers a competing product at a lower price
Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. Review the Product Description Before Purchasing
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product page before completing a purchase.
Product descriptions may identify:
-
The product format
-
Approximate length or runtime
-
File type
-
Delivery method
-
Language
-
Content themes
-
Age restriction
-
Required software or device
-
Whether the product is downloadable or streaming-only
-
Whether access is permanent or limited
-
Whether the product is part of a membership
-
Any content warnings
-
Any special refund terms
Please contact info@marovellesloan.com before purchasing if a material product detail is unclear.
A mistaken assumption that contradicts the product description will not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
6. Eligible Refund or Replacement Requests
We may provide a refund, replacement, corrected file, account credit, or restored access when one of the following situations is verified.
Duplicate Charge
The same customer was charged more than once for the same product or billing period because of a processing error.
Incorrect Product Delivered
The delivered file or access link does not match the product identified in the completed order.
Corrupted or Defective File
The supplied file is materially corrupted or unusable and we cannot provide a working replacement after reasonable troubleshooting.
Material Technical Failure
A technical problem within our website or delivery system prevents access to a purchased product, and we cannot restore access or provide an alternative delivery method within a reasonable period.
Unauthorized Transaction
The transaction is verified as unauthorized after appropriate review by us and the payment provider.
Product Unavailable
We cannot deliver the purchased product because it was removed, lost, discontinued, or otherwise unavailable before access was provided.
Incorrect Amount Charged
The amount processed differs from the amount clearly displayed and authorized at checkout.
Refund Required by Law
Applicable law gives the customer a right to a refund that cannot legally be excluded.
Approval and the form of remedy depend on the circumstances, available records, applicable law, and the payment provider’s procedures.
7. Replacement Before Refund
When a customer reports a technical problem, incorrect file, corrupted download, or delivery failure, we may first attempt to resolve the issue by:
-
Resending the download link
-
Providing a replacement file
-
Correcting account permissions
-
Offering an alternative file format
-
Extending an access period
-
Providing reasonable troubleshooting instructions
-
Delivering the product through another secure method
-
Issuing store credit where accepted by the customer
A refund may be considered if the problem cannot reasonably be corrected.
Refusal to complete reasonable troubleshooting may affect refund eligibility.
8. Refunds Generally Not Provided For
Unless required by law, refunds will not ordinarily be issued because:
-
The customer changed their mind
-
The customer did not like the content
-
The customer found the themes uncomfortable after purchasing
-
The customer expected personal attention or communication
-
The product did not produce a particular emotional or personal result
-
The customer did not read the product description
-
The customer selected the wrong format
-
The customer’s device or software is incompatible
-
The customer lacks internet access
-
The customer forgot to download or use the product
-
The customer no longer has access to the email used for purchase
-
The customer shared or lost their account credentials
-
A temporary interruption affected access
-
A product was purchased during a promotion and later discounted further
-
A digital bundle includes an item the customer already owns
-
The customer purchased without considering personal financial obligations
-
Access was revoked because of policy violations
-
The customer violated intellectual-property or account-sharing restrictions
A discretionary exception may be made, but one exception does not establish a future obligation.
9. Request Deadline
Refund or technical-support requests should be submitted within [7/14/30] calendar days after the transaction date.
Reports concerning a corrupted file, incorrect product, delivery failure, or duplicate charge should be made as soon as reasonably possible.
A delayed request may be denied when:
-
Relevant records are no longer available
-
The product has already been accessed
-
The payment provider’s refund period has expired
-
The delay prevents reasonable investigation
-
The request falls outside an applicable legal or contractual period
A legally protected claim will be handled according to applicable law regardless of this general deadline.
10. How to Request Assistance or a Refund
Send requests to:
info@marovellesloan.com
Use the subject line:
Digital Product Support Request
Include:
-
Your chosen or billing name
-
The email address used for the purchase
-
The order or transaction number
-
The product purchased
-
The purchase date
-
A clear description of the issue
-
The remedy requested
-
Screenshots of relevant error messages, where helpful
Do not email:
-
Full payment-card numbers
-
Bank-account credentials
-
Passwords
-
Government identification numbers
-
Sensitive personal or financial documents unless requested through a secure method
Incomplete requests may require additional information before they can be reviewed.
11. Review Process
We may review:
-
Order records
-
Payment status
-
Delivery records
-
Download activity
-
Streaming or access logs
-
Account history
-
Technical-error reports
-
Prior refund activity
-
Communications concerning the order
-
Information supplied by the payment processor
We may also ask the customer to complete reasonable identity, account, or transaction verification.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
We will communicate the result through the email address associated with the request or purchase.
12. Refund Method
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method.
We generally cannot:
-
Refund a different card
-
Send funds to an unrelated account
-
Replace a card refund with a direct transfer
-
Control how quickly a bank posts the refund
-
Refund payment-provider or currency-conversion fees that we did not receive
When the original payment method cannot accept a refund, an alternative remedy may be considered where lawful and operationally available.
Depending on the payment method, a refund may need to be processed directly through the external payment provider rather than through Wix.
13. Refund Processing Time
After a refund is approved and issued, the time required for it to appear depends on:
-
The payment provider
-
The customer’s bank
-
The payment method
-
Currency conversion
-
Weekends and holidays
-
The customer’s country
We do not control bank posting times.
Customers should contact their bank or payment provider if an issued refund does not appear after the provider’s stated processing period.
14. Partial Refunds
Where appropriate, we may issue a partial refund instead of a full refund.
A partial refund may be considered when:
-
Only one item in a bundle was defective
-
A portion of the order could not be delivered
-
A customer received some but not all promised access
-
A duplicate amount affected only part of a transaction
-
Applicable law requires a proportional remedy
-
The parties agree to a partial resolution
Partial refunds are determined according to the particular transaction and do not create a standard valuation for individual bundle components.
15. Bundles and Collections
Digital bundles and collections are sold as complete products unless otherwise stated.
A customer is generally not entitled to a partial refund because:
-
They already own one item in the bundle
-
They dislike one item
-
They do not use every item
-
Individual items later become available separately
-
The combined price changes after purchase
When a material component is missing or defective, we may provide the missing component, a replacement, a partial refund, a credit, or another reasonable remedy.
16. Preorders and Advance Purchases
Products offered for preorder will identify the anticipated release or delivery information available at the time of purchase.
Before delivery, a preorder may be canceled and refunded when:
-
We approve the request
-
The product page expressly allows cancellation
-
The release is materially delayed
-
The product is canceled
-
Applicable law provides a cancellation right
After the preorder product has been delivered or accessed, the standard digital-product rules in this policy apply.
Creative schedules and release dates may change. A minor delay does not automatically create a right to a refund unless expressly stated or legally required.
17. Limited-Time and Expiring Access
Some products may be available for:
-
A limited viewing period
-
A limited number of downloads
-
A specific release window
-
The duration of an active membership
-
A stated promotional period
These limitations will be disclosed on the applicable product or offer page.
Customers are responsible for accessing the product during the disclosed period.
Expiration of properly disclosed access does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
18. Download Links
Download links may:
-
Expire after a stated period
-
Be limited to a certain number of downloads
-
Require account login
-
Be restricted to the purchaser
-
Be disabled after suspected misuse
Customers should download purchased files promptly and store permitted copies securely.
A replacement link may be provided at our discretion when:
-
The original purchaser can be verified
-
The product remains available
-
There is no indication of unauthorized sharing
-
The payment remains valid
-
The request is made within a reasonable period
We do not guarantee indefinite replacement access unless expressly promised.
19. Streaming Products
Streaming access allows the customer to listen to or view content through an approved player or private area.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, streaming access does not include the right to:
-
Download the content
-
Record the stream
-
Extract the audio
-
Share the private link
-
Broadcast the content
-
Reproduce or redistribute it
A refund will not ordinarily be issued after meaningful streaming access has occurred, except where required by law or where a material unresolved technical failure prevented use.
20. Membership Refunds
Memberships are governed primarily by the Membership Terms.
Unless required by law or expressly stated in the applicable offer:
-
Membership charges are generally nonrefundable once the billing period begins.
-
Cancellation stops future renewals rather than reversing past charges.
-
Failure to use the membership does not create a refund right.
-
Forgetting to cancel before renewal does not automatically qualify for a refund.
-
Access may continue until the end of the paid period after cancellation.
-
Removal for misconduct may result in loss of access without refund.
A refund or credit may be considered for:
-
A verified duplicate membership charge
-
An incorrect plan charged because of our error
-
A verified unauthorized transaction
-
A material technical failure that prevented access and could not be corrected
-
A charge processed after a cancellation became effective
-
A refund required by law
21. Membership Cancellation
Recurring memberships must be canceled through the method provided in the member account, checkout confirmation, Membership Terms, or applicable payment-provider interface.
A cancellation request should be submitted before the next renewal date.
Cancellation:
-
Stops eligible future renewal charges
-
Does not ordinarily refund an existing billing period
-
Does not necessarily end access immediately
-
May allow access through the end of the paid period
-
Does not restore an expired promotional price
Simply deleting an account, unsubscribing from email, removing a payment card, or failing to use the membership may not cancel recurring billing.
22. Gifts, Tributes, and Wishlist Purchases
Voluntary gifts and tributes are not digital-product purchases unless they are expressly connected to a defined product.
Gifts and tributes:
-
Are generally final
-
Do not guarantee acknowledgment
-
Do not purchase access or attention
-
Do not create a right to content or services
-
May also be governed by an external platform’s refund policy
Refund questions involving an external wishlist, gift, or tribute platform must ordinarily be directed to that platform.
Gift and tribute activity is also governed by the separate Gift and Tribute Terms.
23. External Retailers and Platforms
Products purchased through an external retailer, app store, marketplace, podcast platform, wishlist service, or payment platform are subject to that provider’s:
-
Billing rules
-
Cancellation process
-
Refund policy
-
Delivery terms
-
Dispute procedures
-
Account restrictions
We may not have the ability to issue a direct refund for a purchase completed entirely through a third party.
Customers should submit refund requests through the platform that processed the purchase when required.
24. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotional prices, coupons, or discount codes:
-
Must be used before completing the purchase
-
Cannot ordinarily be applied retroactively
-
May have expiration dates
-
May be limited to certain products
-
May be restricted to one use
-
May not be combined unless expressly permitted
A customer is not ordinarily entitled to a refund of the difference when:
-
They forgot to apply a code
-
A promotion began after their purchase
-
A larger discount was later offered
-
The price was reduced after purchase
We may correct a verified technical error that prevented a valid code from being applied.
25. Taxes and Currency Conversion
Refunds generally apply only to amounts actually collected by us.
Tax treatment depends on applicable law and the payment provider’s procedures.
Currency-conversion charges, foreign-transaction fees, bank charges, and other fees imposed independently by a bank or payment provider may not be refundable by us.
The amount returned in the customer’s local currency may differ from the original amount because of exchange-rate changes outside our control.
26. Unauthorized Purchases
Report a suspected unauthorized transaction promptly to:
info@marovellesloan.com
We may request information reasonably necessary to:
-
Locate the transaction
-
Verify the account
-
Investigate access
-
Communicate with the payment processor
-
Prevent further unauthorized activity
The payment method owner should also contact their bank or payment provider.
A claim that a transaction was unauthorized may be denied when available evidence indicates that:
-
The account holder completed the purchase
-
The purchaser accessed the product
-
A household or authorized user made the purchase with permission
-
The claim concerns dissatisfaction rather than lack of authorization
We will not deny rights relating to a genuinely unauthorized transaction.
27. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers retain the right to dispute genuinely unauthorized, incorrect, or unlawful charges.
Before filing a chargeback concerning a recognizable transaction, contact info@marovellesloan.co so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
When a dispute is filed, we may provide the payment provider with relevant records, including:
-
Checkout disclosures
-
Transaction confirmations
-
Product descriptions
-
Delivery records
-
Download or access logs
-
Account information
-
Cancellation records
-
Customer communications
-
Applicable policies
Knowingly filing a false chargeback, falsely denying an authorized purchase, or retaining accessed content while attempting to reverse valid payment may result in:
-
Suspension or termination of the account
-
Revocation of product or membership access
-
Refusal of future transactions
-
Submission of relevant evidence to the payment provider
-
Other lawful remedies
This section does not penalize a customer for a good-faith dispute or limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
28. Revoked or Reversed Payments
If a payment is refunded, reversed, charged back, canceled, or found invalid, we may revoke access to the related:
-
Download
-
Streaming product
-
Bundle
-
Membership
-
Private content
-
Account benefit
A refunded customer must not continue using, sharing, or distributing the product.
Where technically possible, downloaded copies should be deleted after a full refund unless applicable law provides otherwise.
29. Intellectual-Property Violations
No refund is owed when access is suspended or revoked because the customer:
-
Shared a download link
-
Distributed private content
-
Recorded a protected stream
-
Shared membership credentials
-
Resold a digital product
-
Uploaded content to another platform
-
Violated copyright restrictions
-
Used content commercially without permission
-
Used content to train an artificial-intelligence system
-
Otherwise violated the Terms and Conditions or Membership Terms
This does not limit any nonwaivable consumer right unrelated to the violation.
30. Discretionary Refunds and Credits
We may issue a refund, partial refund, replacement, or account credit as a discretionary courtesy even when not required by this policy.
A discretionary remedy:
-
Does not admit fault
-
Does not alter this policy
-
Does not guarantee the same outcome for another customer
-
Does not create an ongoing obligation
-
May be subject to conditions stated at the time it is offered
Store credit has no cash value unless applicable law provides otherwise.
31. Fraud and Abuse
We may deny a refund request or restrict future purchases when we reasonably identify:
-
Refund fraud
-
Repeated purchases followed by refund requests
-
Account manipulation
-
False delivery claims
-
Unauthorized redistribution
-
Multiple accounts used to exploit promotions
-
Falsified screenshots or records
-
Abusive or threatening conduct
-
Attempts to retain content without payment
We may preserve relevant records and report unlawful activity where appropriate.
32. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or waives any warranty, refund right, cancellation right, or other consumer protection that cannot legally be excluded.
When the law applicable to a transaction provides a stronger right than this policy, the applicable law will control.
International customers may have additional rights based on their location and the manner in which digital content was supplied.
33. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Digital Product Policy to reflect changes in:
-
Products
-
Memberships
-
Delivery methods
-
Payment providers
-
Wix features
-
Business practices
-
Consumer-protection laws
-
Technical or security requirements
The revised policy will display a new “Last updated” date.
The policy in effect at the time of a transaction will generally govern that purchase, except where a later change is required by law or benefits the customer.
